The client is a spiritual director and workshop leader based in Bellevue, Wash.

Crispin González Ceramics

The client is a ceramic artist based in Claremont, California.

The site features photographs of the client's art pieces, showcasing his innovative use of form, pattern, and color.

A custom photo gallery provides thumbnails and enlarged views of dozens of images, with easy navigation and a professional presentation.

I created all site typography and design, and programmed the site.

Hedlund Builders

The client is a construction and design firm based in LaConner, Washington.

The entire site is built around photographs of the client's residential construction projects, showcasing their craftsmanship and versatility. A gallery provides more detailed views of individual projects.

I created the logo, site design, and all graphic elements, and programmed the site.

The Inspired Coach

The client is a personal life coach based in Kirkland, Washington.

The client provided the photographs and the door/vine graphic, which I developed into a finished design.

Site features:

- An event calendar and registration system that the client can maintain. The registration system allows for payment via Paypal.

- Integration with third-party tools such as aWeber mailing list signup, a Twitter widget, and other features.

Eastside Refugee and Immigrant Coalition

The client is a non-profit organization supporting health and human service providers that serve refugees and immigrants.

- The entire site can be maintained by the client using a custom PHP/MySQL-driven content management system (CMS).

- PHP-driven event calendar updatable by the client.

Linda Severt

The client is a children's performer and singer-songwriter based in Seattle, Washington.

Using the client's photographs, custom graphics were created in a circus/carnival style, complementing the client's use of clowning, acrobatics, and puppetry in her work.

Site features:

- A multimedia Gallery page, incorporating video and audio demo clips in a custom interface with a vintage carnival theme

- Extensive, playful use of photographs and graphics throughout the site

SongSpace

Songspace was a community Web site that promoted singer-songwriters in the greater Seattle area.

I designed and built this site as a free community service project.

The site featured:

- PHP/MySQL-driven concert calendar where performers could post events to

- Flash-based streaming audio player with randomized PHP-driven playlist

- PHP-driven Artist Directory with random screen shots of artist websites

Portrait Pastiche

The client paints custom portraits of customers based on paintings by famous masters.

Site pages are "made" of art paper textures, complementing the artist's work and providing a warm color palette. Aside from the artist's own paintings, I created all the site graphics and typography, including the logo, brush, torn paper, etc.

The site features a Gallery of the artist's individual and group portraits, with smaller thumbnail images that are clicked to reveal larger, high-resolution images of the paintings.

Jim Knapp Music

The client is a jazz composer and bandleader based in Seattle, Washington.

Site features:

- All site text can be updated and maintained by the client, using a custom PHP/MySQL database-driven content management system.

- Custom PHP-driven calendar, also updatable by the client.

- Custom product catalog system for sales of sheet music and music theory textbooks, with customized Paypal integration.

Eastside Timebank

The client is a non-profit time bank (volunteer time/service exchange) based in Bellevue, Washington.

I created the logo and site design.

Site features:

- All content can be updated by the client, using a custom PHP/MySQL database-driven content management system (CMS).

- A custom event calendar, updatable by the client.

- A custom photo upload/management tool, allowing the client to change photos on the home page.

- Paypal integration for processing donations.
