My book, "Rhythm Guitar Secrets: Mastering Rhythm, Dynamics, and Tone" is finding readers all over the world, and the response has been great. RGS is a comprehensive guide to keeping time, grooving hard, and controlling your sound. It's the distillation of my teaching work with hundreds of students over the last 20 years, and offers something for players at every level, in every style.

My songwriting website, InsideSongwriting.com, is going strong. I've provided songwriting evaluations/critiques for folks all over the world... It's great to hear their work, and help them along in their songwriting process. The site also offers lots of free songwriting resources, including dozens of songwriting tips, reading lists of books related to songwriting, and more.

Other stuff...

In addition to my work as a solo singer-songwriter, I play with a lot of other great Seattle-area artists. You can catch me playing lead guitar and keys with Reggie Garrett and the SnakeOil Peddlers throughout the Northwest, and I sit in with other folks as well. Recent studio work includes guest spots on new CDs by Jim Vick, Kathryn Mostow, and Alpha Tango.

I also teach privately from my studio in Seattle.
