"Inside Music" Archive: Over 40 articles from my old "Inside Music" column in Victory Review. Spanning more than three and a half years (1999-2003), they cover a wide range of music topics, including theory, rhythm, songwriting, instrumental technique, recording and mixing, and more.
Songspace.net: A website I've created to highlight the incredibly talented singer-songwriters in the Seattle area. You'll find a concert calendar, artist features, an artist directory, a searchable venue database, lists of open mics and concert series, and a lot more – all free. The only site of its kind in the Northwest.
Guitar
Transcriptions: Detailed transcriptions of
fingerstyle guitar arrangements from my CD, WEB. Currently
available are "Piggy," "Never Even," and
"The Potter's Daughter." More will be added in the
future.
The Reading List
contains dozens of books on creativity, songwriting, music
biography, recording, and the music business. These are books
I've found informative or inspiring over the years, and I hope
you find them useful, too. I'll be expanding the list from time
to time, so check back.
Links in the Chain
is a growing list of progressive organizations and information
sources dedicated to working for positive political, social, and
environmental change, and a list of prominent newspapers to whom
you can write letters to the editor.
